Hi,

I'm hoping to get some help to finding a nice diamond within my budget.

My budget is 2000 dollars for the diamond. I would like the diamond to be at least 0.6 ct (preferly .7). Color J-K won't be a problem for me.

I've already gotten 3 acets for a cushion and 2 princesses but I've changed my mind about them. This means I won't be able to get ideal scopes.

I found this H&A stone but please feel free to give opinions and post links for other.

I'm gonna go with a solitaire setting for it.

cut-wise it looks like a great diamond!

I love everything about it. I like the color/ clarity combo you have. Very budget friendly and practical for a stone that size.

I think it's beautiful.

Are you going for the simplest ( cheapest) setting there? If so I jus wanted to say I had my K in that setting for a bit. I would suggest the 6 prong, and maybe consider yellow or rose gold for the sank /white for the head. :wavey:

Either way you're ring will be beautiful.

I had done the $180 one with 6 prong. I think it will help with the color of the stone. Hides more of the side, which shows most color. Also sense it's the basic you could afford 18k in rose or yellow if you were inclined to go that route. If you went white of go 14k though.

Here's mine with yellow I post it just because I think for the price the quality was better than I had expected (6mm round)

The setting Niel is showing is really pretty. But I do know that your engagement ring is a 18k white gold eternity so it´s up to you if you want to mix color or not. But I do like Neils suggestion regarding going for 6 prong knife edge.
