Hi all,
I have a ~1 carat princess cut diamond. I am looking for a solitaire setting, but I don''t want it to be the normal, boring, straight-across type.
I have done extensive research, and the closest thing I have found to what I like is the eighternity bands on goodoldgold here. They are simple, elegant, but with a little intrigue. The problem is that their selection is very limited and I''d like to see more.
I saw a setting at Belenky Brothers in NYC that i liked: looking down on the ring, it looked like 1/2 of a narrow figure eight, so that a princess cut diamond set in the center would actually be at a slight angle. However, it is a very thin ring (not much metal at all) that is still $1000. Seemed excessive to me.
I just wanted to see if anyone knew of any designers or stores that featured something like what I was looking for. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
