Help me find a jeweler in NYC for a Diamond Watch Bezel

Hi,
I need help finding a reputable, and more importantly, a good quality jeweler to do a diamond bezel on a watch. I''ve talked to some people and everyone says they can do it, but the watch is a Cartier so I am extremely hesitant to just have anyone work on it. I am looking for someone quality in the NYC area and need suggestions if anyone has had any custom work done.

Also what quality and color diamonds should I be looking for. Since this is going into a watch bezel, they will be pretty small so I assume SI is sufficient, but I wanted them to be white so I was thinking of maybe an F or G color. Does that sound right?

I imagine there are people who specialize in that kind of work. I would not let just anyone alter a Cartier watch, that''s for sure. I have no idea if Leon Mege would do it, but I think he would do an excellent job. Or perhaps he might know someone to recommend?

I''d only put colorless VS stones in a Cartier watch.
