I've been reading on here for a while, but I'm totally lost. I want to find something beautiful for my girlfriend. There just seems to be so many numbers and things to work out. I was hoping this community could give me some guidance:

Modern Round Brilliant, 1.4 ct+ (preferably, 1.5+)
I colour or above
eyeclean
Great cut.

All, if possible with setting, under $10,000. My girlfriend just wants a simple solitaire. Do you think this is doable? Any leads on what I should be looking at?

Fear not, you are in the right place and we can help you find something beautiful for your GF! I do think this is doable for your budget if you would consider J colour although we might not be able to hit 1.5 carats, we can try to get as large as possible, I am sure you will get lots of suggestions when the others log on! Meanwhile, I will have a look to see what's available, do you want a platinum or gold setting?
