It''s hard to say. The first one has a potentially nasty inclusion right on top, but the other has a number of inclusions on the side, but not as dark looking. Has WF said if either or both are eyeclean?

I talked to Brian for an hour today and he said they are both eye clean (and then there is the discussion of "what is eye clean"?) Take a look at the side by side photo.

I think I actually prefer the HSI2 if both are eyeclean because I still worry about that really dark looking inclusion...

I like the SI2 as well. The inclusion is in a better place (not dead center) and it''s a tiny bit bigger and $100 less. But they are so very close and both are just gorgeous.

I like the SI2 for the same reasons as everybody else! Bigger and cheaper and the inclusions aren''t dark. I can''t wait to see your new ring, whatever you end up with!

I''m so excited I can hardly sit still! We just placed the order and we got the larger stone. It will be set in the legato sleek line setting in platinum. I should have it some time next week. Next will be deciding on the wedding band but I decided to go ahead and get the ering under my belt first!
