Okay so if I may ask for your opinion once again. I am all over the place trying to choose a setting. You guys are so helpful and point out things that I would never think of. So which would you pick if you were choosing between these 2 settings. I found a good deal on both and both are in my price range of under $1500. Thanks so much. #1 knife edge pave or #2 halo

So I just spoke with the vendor and they said I could order both settings and then just return the one I don't want to keep. So I am just going to order both so I can see them in person. It is hard to decide without seeing them in person. I will take pictures of both when I get them.

Nice.

Good luck. :)

I LOVE the 2nd one!

I love halo's but that 1st one really caught my eye..

the first is more unique,i do love a good halo though. For me it would depend on the size of the center stone. I have a halo e-ring because i was looking for more finger coverage (.91ct diamond size 8 finger) I say if finger coverage is not an issue then go with the first one.

My center stone is 1.25 carat round, not sure if that woulod be too big for a halo or not. It is so hard to choose a setting I love so many.

Another vote for #1. It really likes like an expensive designer piece, and with a 1.25, You'd don't really need a halo...IMHO.

i like both settings, but am partical to halos since i have one! however, i think #1 is really unique. whichever you choose will be beautiful!

LOVE #1!!

They're totally different, not even close. I think, once you see them (put 'em on, put your hand by your side, and look in a mirror) that one will just call out to you!

Report back!

someone here has that first setting - can't recall who it is right off my head, but I remember thinking it was just SO gorgeous!

Well I am a little bummed out. I found them for half their original price on overstock.com. I asked them if I could order both and return the one I did not like and they said sure. Then I was reading through the fine print of their return policy and they said if the item is open then you only get a partial refund. When I asked if this also applied to rings they said yes. I asked what percentage a partial refund is and they said it depends on the inspection :errrr: So what is the point of ordering both if I can't open the box and look at them. The whole thing made me a little nervous so I cancelled my order.

So the hunt continues. There are a couple Beverley K rings at pearlmans that I like so I may see if they will send me a couple samples.

Thanks for all the feedback though. I love reading your responses.

oh both are really beautiful choices, but i think i would go with the second option- i just love the halo!

You probably made a good decision...I had a problem with them wanting to keep half the cost of a coat I ordered because
it had blond hair on it. I finally got my money back but I couldnt believe what they were trying to pull on me.

EDIt - whats the chance of finding a dealer near you that may have the rings?

Well I am glad I cancelled it, if they were like that with your coat I am sure jewelry would be the same.

I live in Alaska and there are no Danhov dealers in the state and unfortunately I can't just drive to a neighboring state. I have a few Bev K samples on the way from pearlmans. They are so nice and helpful at pearlmans.
