Help me choose between these two stones...

...or, if you think you can link me to something better, please do so. I am looking, in short, for a clean, intensely coloured stone - pink, green, blue/purple, I'm open to anything.

im good with demantoid garnet-this stone looks good but my favorite is the russian material-this stone does look good & seems to show very well-steve...

As an owner of a Russian demantoid, I'd actually, suggest you to take the demantoid. The color is nice, it seems to have high dispersion and a Russian demantoid of such a size would command a higher price. Namibian demantoids are considered inferior to Russian ones, but everything is relative and this one seems to be quite nice. You may find a darker, finer color, but usually they are less dispersive, and dispersion is what demantoids are famous for. It is nice to have "horsetail" inclusions, but really, it is just a trademark, not a must.
The price of spinel is good for such a color, but he sometimes has better colors, too.
