Help in buying Diamond.

Hello everybody, My search in google had made me land in this forum which has helped me to some extend.

I am looking forward to buy loose diamond. I did see some and would like to know if its worth buying coz i dont know anythign about diamond. If someone could determine the price for me i would much appreciate it.

The below is the details of the diamond i am planing to buy.
0.10 Ct CERTIFIED ROUND BRILLIANT DIAMOND SOLITAIRE
100% Natural loose untreated precious RBC diamonds
Origin of Gem - South Africa
Carat Weight - 0.10Ct.
Appx Dimensions - 2.89mm/1.73mm
Color - As Depicted
Treatments - None
Clarity - SI2-I2
Color - J-K
Diamond Cut:Full Cut
Diamond Clarity1
Diamond Carat: 0.09 - 0.16 Carat

lower than .2c is rarely graded as the cost of grading it is a significant amount of the stone''s retail price and thus not much profit can result from doing that.

I believe a report from GIA is on the order of 1-200 USD and the selling price of a 0.1c G/H VS is about less 50USD.

Hi Kris,

Who is selling this diamond? I want to point out as well that even in this tiny a stone the qualities are lower, I1 clarity in one instance and J - K colour - are you picking one out of a packet? What is the intended purpose for the diamond?
