I''m having a jeweler custom make my soon-to-be-fiance''s engagement and wedding rings. Should I have him make them comfort bands? Do women wear those? Or are comfort bands strictly a thing for guys? Women of PS, what do you think? Would you prefer comfort bands?

I love comfort fit bands! I''ve also noticed in my wedding set that it makes a difference in the size. My set has one comfort fit channel set band in a size 7, which is loose, and two vintage carved bands on either side which are not comfort fit. Those had to be sized to a size 8.25 for them to fit my finger

I also found a vintage style diamond ring to match my carved bands and that needed to be a size 8.5 to fit my right hand (where as with my comfort fit band a size 7 fits my RH).

So should I get a comfort band for the engagement ring?

And does that mean I should get a smaller or larger size? Her regular size is 6.25

If I had a choice, I would do it. Can you take her to a jewelry store and have her try on comfort fit bands to get a feel for her size?

I love comfort fit. SB is right with the sizing difference (CF is smaller). My comfort fit ering and wband was a 4.5. My new ering is not a comfort fit. Before ordering, I tried on various sizes and was shocked to learn that I am really a size 5.

I too, love the comfort fit bands! I find they are more comfortable as my finger size fluctuates during the year.

I love comfort fit too.

On wider bands, definitely! I think at 2/2.5mm it doesn''t make much difference.
