Do I have to worry about their being a difference in colour E-F? additionally anything else I should note or ask?

About as close as a twin it can get.

E/F unless you are wearing the 2 studs side by side on the same ear and the person looking at them is close enough to kiss you, no one else will be able to tell.

Haha thank you SC! I shall buy them then, first things first I might ask if they can do IS for this two and inspect the location of feather and the performance generally. :D

vetenk, do you want a bigger pair? I have a pair of earrings about your size (0.435 & 0.443) and they are SI1 but I can't see any inclusion in them, even when I put them so close to my eyes and I am near-sighted. You may consider SI1 if you want to go bigger for the same budget. Sorry if you don't want or you don't like SI1, I just want to give my 2 cents opinion :D.

I have considered SI that are eye-clean before, but I guess I am slightly *mind-clean* when it comes to picking, however if there was ever one I found that was stunning and value for money SI I would consider it.

Also I noticed on the reports that the LGF is 75% for one and the other is 80% is this a problem when buying a pair of earrings? I know GIA brings it to the nearest 5% for LGF. If this is a problem I have found a H&A for almost same price with very similar specification which has a 75% LGF.

Let me know! thank you.

Should be fine. Any image?

I guess it comes back to if you are both wearing them on the same ear and you know what your looking for, you probably won't ever notice lol.
I am arranging pics for the non two H&A above hopefully they will get back to me shortly. Also I will request pictures for the 0.61EVS1 pear which I will add in the other topic when I ehar back.

Strange I just got the following response for the two diamonds above:

I just heard back from our gemologist regarding diamonds 1275118 and 1339734. She said there is a visual difference in the size of these two diamonds, and she consequently wouldn't recommend them as a good match.

I am a little surprise with specification that are almost indentical with a carat difference of 0.01ct would have a 'visual difference in size', please advise?

Thanks.

vetenks,

I recognized our item numbers so I called the NYC office and spoke with the gemologist directly. It seems that we examined three diamonds for your consideration and in the opinion of the GG the diamonds you posted above were not the best match out of the group.

In short, these would work fine, but she liked another combination you selected better.

Hope this helps!

Hi JAS!

Thanks for contacting the GG directly it is much appreciated, now I understand completely and this has also been reconfimed have just via email from one of your representatives. I shall request to proceed with the transaction for the two diamonds recommended as the best match and have them set in the platinum martini style earrings which I must say is a very classic design, I can't wait to see it all!

Thank you, been a pleasure buying from you again.

as for colors, an E and F on seperate ears will not be a noticable color difference.
