I'm about to buy a diamond for my girlfriend's engagement ring, and was looking for some advice on the diamond I am planning on buying (is it a good deal? is something wrong?)

Cut: Princess (Reported to be an ideal cut by the seller)
Carat: .92
Clarity: VVS2
Color: G
Dimensions: 5.64 x 5.64 x 3.65mm
Depth: 64.7%
Table: 69%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Very Thin to Thin
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Price: $4121.00
GIA Cert

That diamond has good qualities (it's v square & has Ex symmetry).

Do you have any crown height info and/or an idealscope image? I'm just a tad concerned that the crown'll be below 10 w the table that much higher than depth...

Also, do you know where the very thin portion of the girdle is? If it's around the corners, i'd steer clear of this stone...

I second everything Alexah said! I also feel the depth is too shallow considering the other numbers, which could lead to light leakage and/or a small crown. I also would be VERY concerned if the corners of the stone are very thin, as there's a good chance they could chip in the setting process (and be covered by a prong so you'd never know). Make sure you get a Sarin report or Ideal Scope image!
