Help ASAP - Any clue why this 2.01ct G VS2 is so much cheaper than its GIA graded counterparts on sa

Thank you all. This stone is about $3k cheaper than counterparts with same weight, grades that are GIA certified. Any clue???

As far as I can see, the first stone seems to be much better on paper. I''d love to see them both side by side to compare them in real life...

Maybe the first one is older stock and the price is based on a lower wholesale price and the new one has a Jan. 2008 cert? That or a pricing error are the only two things I can think of. It certainly makes that first stone very appealing!

FWIW $3K is about the difference you''d expect to see between G-VS2 and H-VS2, or G-VS2 and G-SI1 for an AGSL ideal at this size.
