Help again. Upped my budget to $6k total. Desperate to get this done this week. Getting married 3/21.

Need a 14k or 18k engagement ring that looks like this that is at least 0.5ct. Ring must also be at least 3.5mm wide. http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/diamond-settings/benchmark-channel-set-diamond-engagement-ring-3199.htm

She likes that Cathedral channel set ring look. Also need a princess cut diamond that is around 0.9ct to compliment the ring.

Also need matching wedding ban that is at least 0.5ct also.

Thanks for all those that helped me before. Decided to take out a small loan to get her what she told me she wanted.
 
Yeah she tried on some rings this past Saturday that were 4mm wide because of the size of her fingers and she loved them. Told here I will look for something close to that size.
 
I don't know about the width of those rings, but if you can get this set for $4000 or so, it's not a bad deal.

Nice diamond but it chews up a lot of the $$$ and I have not got the matching wedding band yet. Also I was going to call whiteflash to see how wide that ring is. Unsure if it will work.

It's unlikely they will go down that far. Maybe to 5k. You could ask for 4,500 I suppose.

By the way does any of these sites have coupon on the diamond, ring and band?
 
Alright. So decide if you want to pick a setting from JA or WF and start from there. I don't think it's a good ideal to buy a princess from BN unless it's an AGS 0.

Leaning towards whiteflash or a website called Union diamond as I am looking now.

I don't think union diamond provides ASETs. If you put the diamond I posted earlier in the setting julie picked, it's slightly over your budget. What can we do....

I'm positive they are wrong about that. Call back.

My own rings are super thin, no channel set and mine total 4mm (2mm each) so there is NO WAY that those together are 3.5. Someone can't add.
 
It's 7mm. Call them tomorrow. Don't listen to the listing. It's written wrong. People just don't know how to write clearly.

I can try asking her tomorrow morning when she wakes up. She is starting to worry that she won't have a wedding and engagement ring by next week. My fault though.

No I think it's written very poorly. What it should say is that the wedding band and the setting EACH measure 3.5 mm for a total of 7mm.

there is NO WAY that those rings together total 3.5mm. That means each of them would have to be 1.7mm. Call them and TELL (don't ask) them you think the listing is written incorrectly because it is impossible for those two rings to equal a total of 3.5mm. Because that would mean each MUST be 1.7mm thick. And that's just not possible. Tell them that you are calling to confirm that each band is 3.5mm for a total of 7mm.
