Hey everyone, I''ve been lurking around the forums for a couple months now, and I''ve learned so much. I''ve narrowed my choices down to two stones which weigh in around .81-.82 ct from GOG. One doesn''t have pics on the site but I requested them via email. I''ll post those later. Here are the stats

Diamond #1
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5228/
This one has star facets of 56 and lower halves of 76

Diamond #2
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/I297024/
This one has star facets of 54 and lower halves of 74
There also must be a typo on the site because the AGS report lists the table as 56.7%, not 56%

The price is also within $100, so that''s not a factor at all.
Thanks for the input!

P.S. My name isn''t actually Stephen, just in case the GF stumbles upon this site.

Here''s the DiamXray from the 2nd stone

Welcome Stephen!

The first looks great and I am sure the second will be an excellent diamond too, post the images when you get them then we can take a look. If you are unsure, contact Jon at GOG and he can possibly send additonal photos or perhaps do a comparison video for you.

ETA- images look great.

Update. As per the recommendation of the folks at GOG, I decided to go with diamond #1. Now onto the quest for the perfect setting. Thinking of going for the Mark Morrell petite torchiere. Any recs? My budget for a setting is around 2K
