Hi, Costume jewellery probably a base metal with resin / plastic gems. Rustic / Indian style.
If it was sterling silver, it should be hallmarked with either “sterling” on “925”.
An easy way to test if the gems are plastic is to heat the tip of a needle under a flame and touch a gem, somewhere inconspicuous with the red hot tip. Plastic or resin will melt, a natural stone won’t.

It looks like the links are held together with some sort of stretchy material? If so, that would make your bracelet rather recent in origin.
