Hello everyone! I have been "lurking" on your site since I accidently came upon it while searching...what else...diamond rings! I loved reading all your stories and how you all support each other. I''ve been wanting to post for awhile, but I had problems with internet explorer and cookies and blah blah blah.
So, I am so excited to actually post and interact with the wonderful ladies here.
A brief "About Me": I am 27 years old and like everyone else I have had my heart broken to the point of no return (it seemed). And then, last March my friend insisted I go on a date with her and her husband, and her husbands friend. She actually guilt tripped me by saying "he really wants to meet you. He keeps asking about you". All the while her husband was telling Matt the same about me. (later we would figure out they were both "embellishing" to make sure we actually went through with the date. How kniving my good friends are!). So I went on the date expecting absolutely nothing and pretty much wanting to get it over with.
Here I am 9 months later. I moved into his townhouse earlier this month and we are sharing our first holiday season together. And recently we have been talking about our future. Even though we won''t be engaged for another year, it is so exciting and I''m so glad I found this website to use as an outlet for my excitement!
