So, today I heard back from the publishers. I had sent my book manuscript in many months ago, and I kept praying I wouldn''t hear back (with the inevitable revisions) until after wedding stress had settled down. Talk about perfect timing! The old thread is here:

Aaaaand ... it''s a go! There is certainly some work to do on revisions, but overall the reviews were glowing. They used words like "innovative," "excellent" and "groundbreaking". So, pending board approval (which it is basically impossible the editor won''t get, given those reviews), I''ve made my contribution to human knowledge and can now retire. teehee. as if.
Seriously though. This is a good international press, so most libraries will pick up a copy. I might even make a little money from it!
Coincidentally, just after receiving the e-mail from the publisher, I went to pick up my mail and there was a parcel from amazon containing my best friend / MOH''s new novel. I didn''t read the most recent version before it went to press, so I''m excited to read it now. And the author photo is so pretty. I love my bff! And I''m so proud of her.
