Removing post because I am an idiot who did not see the words "Princess Cut".

I no next to nothing about Princess cuts, but I know that EGL europe can be rather soft on grading.

Do you have a way out of this? If so, do you mind posting an approx budget and we can help make some suggestions.

I would first steer you in the direction of WF - they have a range of branded princess cuts I believe which can take the guesswork out. As I said, I can''t comment on the numbers of the stone you posted, so I have no idea what it would be like, but I am concerned about the certificate.

I agree with honey22, the EGL certificate concerns me. What''s the deal with returning the stone? As to the stone itself, I''m afraid I don''t know enough about Princess cuts. Here is some info that might help though:

Princess Cut Table

A quote from another thread:

Generally speaking, to find better performing princess cut diamonds, you want to look a table and depth of 75% or less, with the table being 3-5% less than the depth. That''s a general guideline. There are no hard and fast rules for fancies. After you screen candidates by specs, then it comes down to visual examination. A Prin can look good on paper and not be a good performer.
