Has anyone visited the James Allen NY office?

I've called and it seems their visitation hours are pretty inconvenient. The first time I called it was Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at either 11am, 12pm, or 1pm. Then the second time I tried to make an appointment they said it was only Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm confused. Has anyone seen this office? I'm now thinking about just purchasing from Whiteflash w/o seeing the stone first.

I'm wondering if the general population here tend to lean towards JA or WF, just for the experience.

I visited the office and it was a great experience. I was told they are only available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but I believe that they might change that during the holidays. Good luck!

I believe the JA NYC office is unlike traditional jewelry stores, and does not have a "showroom;" it is really just the office where they do work, and can show people stones for their customers' convenience. As such, I can imagine that they do it mostly by appointment, and only have one appointment at a time. Possibly, their WEdnesday appointments that day you wanted were booked already.

Many PSers have written positive things about their experiences at the JA office.
