Eye bling I guess?

About half way down this page you can see some contacts that have little faceted crystals in them so your eyes will bling, and a little past that are some contacts where the bling hangs OFF OF YOUR EYEBALL. I'm calling uberweird on that one. I would love to see them in person but my eyes hurt just looking at them lol

That just sounds PAINFUL. I remember my first contacts were hard contacts and even the tiniest little speck of dust had me wanting to claw my eyeballs out.

If my doctor said it would not do anything to my vision or damage my eye...I'd definitely do the blinged out contacts haha.

I agree the tear thing just looks odd and makes my eyes water just thinking about it; however that cant be a guy right BEG I was actually thinking what nice eyes and cute freckles that She has! The second set looks kinda cool in theory but I wouldd not use them.

... I"m just going to say that I've seen pictures where people had an implant put into the eye. I can't remember the metal, and I believe it was a heart shape.

Seriously? Why EFF with something so precious as EYE SIGHT?! UGH.

This is coming from a person that is blind as a bat without my contacts or glasses. I can seriously see 3 inches in front of my eyes and everything else is blurry with no correction. People take things like eyesight for granted.

kinda cool but still crazy-I think my eyes would be driven crazy by having a dangling thread running against my lower lash line. I wonder if you can feel each of the little crystals on the lens with your eyeball?

Ditto Bean - my eyesight is far more precious to me than ANY bling could ever be, and there's no way I'd gamble with it for something as silly as this.

I am pretty sure that if you can feel an eyelash in your eye, then you would definitely feel this. It's seems ridiculously uncomfortable for very little bling - you know they stop shining after awhile, though I would be surprised if they were sparkly at all. The photos are obviously photoshopped.

Sorry, I just couldn't stay away from this topic. Contacts are designed to float on your eye. Any weight will disable the floating and pull the lens down. As soon as the pupil isn't in the direct center of the eye, it becomes uncomfortable and if RXed would also begin to diminish the vision. Some contacts are a bit thick and I suppose the bling could be embedded so that it wouldn't actually be felt, but with that much silicone over the bling, I don't think it would sparkle at all. It would probably appear to be a protein deposit.

I don't see why it wouldn't sparkle. Light enters your eye through a contact, so I'm sure light could enter the crystal as well. But I am not encouraging the trend!

To the second set of eyeballs - if I were still in my clubbing years (do you still say clubbing?) I would get the right eyeball contacts. Mr MacDreamy would take one look at my sparkly eyeball and think I was an angel and propose there and then.
