Thinking of buying a couple of Casper mattresses for my kiddos. Has anyone purchased a Casper before? Thoughts?

I have a friend who purchased one. Didn't ask about the details they were very happy with the purchase!

Another couple purchased one and commented that they felt "hot" while sleeping since it was a foam mattress. Perhaps there are different types of mattresses that Casper sells so perhaps they just picked what attribute was most important.

Good luck with the mattress search!

My friend works pretty high up in Casper, she loves hers. They do have an absolute money back guarantee so you can always try it and send it back if you're not happy.

We recently went through this decision - we ended up going with something very similar to Casper, but another brand. Love it. No regrets at all, and I can never see myself wanting a "normal" coil mattress ever again.

I sound like a paid endorsement, but honestly, the technology that has gone into all the different foams, etc. is quite amazing.

Thank you all. I just needed a little nudge. We have an essentia mattress and love love love it. But I can’t pay the big bucks for the kids. That thing was way too expensive. I did want to get them something comfortable, long lasting and non toxic. So am considering the standard Casper original middle road one. I’m think I’m going to go for it.

I have an Endy, which is a canadian version. Love it! Plus the 100 night guarantee is great. If you hate it they will come pick it up and give you a full refund.

We love our Casper! My husband has chronic back issues, and his back has been the best it's ever been since we've been sleeping on it - he's utterly amazed. =)2

 Love hearing this @OboeGal did you just buy the Casper original?

I forgot to ask anyone who has one...did you purchase the foundation? We have slat frames do you think the foundation is necessary on a slat frame?

From my friend who works there, you DO NOT need the foundation of you have a slat bed, you're fine.

We looked at Casper and Brooklyn Bedding (BB) a few years ago as they were at the same price point. Went with BB because the reviews said that their top layer of foam was supposed to be cooler. Very happy with our BB mattress. DH and I both find foam so much more comfortable than spring mattresses so you can’t go wrong.

I just bought a new mattress and did a bunch of research. I went down the Casper & like kind rabbit hole, feeling like I had no idea what to get or why. Then I found a mattress forum.... the mattress underground. Not sure I can post a link to an outside forum. Info overload at times but I finally felt like I was making an informed decision.

After a bunch or research and testing, I went with an all-latex mattress with three layers that can be interchanged to customize your feel & support.

I bought from sleepez .com. Great pricing, great product, great policies. I have a horrible back and my tempurpedic was killing me with the pain and pressure points. My new mattress took about a month to really adjust and break in (thought that was bull, but turns out it's not). Now I LOOOOOVVVVVEEE my mattress. My kids love it too and I am constantly finding them curled up on it! I also slept so hot and sweaty on my tempur and now, none of that! My mattress cover has the natural wool comfort layer and again, it seems to be true that this works to regulate temperature AND it's just the perfect Cush to boot.

I got all talalay layers, firm-medium-soft. I ended up like the order of firm on the bottom, then soft, them medium. Gives me perfect support and the Cush is just divine.

I know this is for your kids, but even for them this is a great, and affordable option. You can exchange layers and/or return the whole shebang for 90 days. I had bought my kids mattresses just before I bought mine and I am so bummed I didn't know then what I know now (they are too). We all wish I had known to get them latex!

Yes, the original! We didn't buy the foundation. At the time, they had guidance on the website as to the measurements of slats that would be adequate, and ours qualified. I don't know if they still have that information there.

I bought a Leesa only bc it didn’t seem to cause people to feel hot like the Casper (judging from the reviews). You definitely don’t the foundation if you already have a slatted frame.

We’re really happy with it and it definitely doesn’t make us feel hot.

Just in case someone sees this thread. I did end up going with the Casper’s and they are fantastic. From order to delivery was super smooth. I ended up getting a discount using an online code and that saved me more than 10% off. I had to buy two twins. One XL and one regular. The kiddos love them. No complaints and my oldest says its way better than his old mattress so that’s great. My youngest is a baby lol. So she doesn’t care and always prefers my bed in general with some part of her on top of me. Haha.
