Happy LEAP day!!

I used to always love Leap Day every four years. Last night I was talking to my mom about it and how "cool" it was at school when leap year came. She said now that I''m a grown up, I can be thankful for an extra day in the year to work and get paid.

So, happy extra pay for this year, everyone!

(Although, I''m on salary, so I guess I''m really getting paid less!)

happy leap day to you too! One of my favorite relatives is a leap day baby, and I''ve always had the most fun calling to tell her "Happy 5th birthday" on her 20th, etc.

Um, yeah. Less pay, more work.

But I love leap-day too! It feels special for some crazy reason.

I''ve been really interested in the ''history'' of time lately. Have you ever wondered how we ended up with leap days? You''d be amazed at all the crazy things humans tried to get the seasons lined up wtih the calendar before they started the current leap thingy. I can write a little about it later if y''all are interested.
