Happy Face! New Shineys for Shiney!

I am so very very happy and excited !!!!
I thought I would post a couple of new Pretty Shiney Things that have
recently come my way !!!!

The first pretty is my new-to-me Pre-Loved ~ GORGEOUS ~
Transitional Cut Diamond,
set in an amazing Barbara Pendant !!!

This lovely came to me by way of Burk

And believe me when I say, her pictures are FAR SUPERIOR to any
that I can take of this pretty little diamond (so I hope she won't mind that I am
linking this here)

I had received a 10-year-bonus check from my boss, so it was sitting there
in the bank waiting for me to find "just" the right little piece of bling to spend it on ~~~~
Since I had looked at Burk's offering for, Oh, I don't know, about 50 or more times,
I finally decided to make the pendant a new home !!!!

I am so happy I did !!!!

Aaaaaannnd, then there was the stress about the Bracelet / Bangle.....

I really, really, truly wanted ~ no ~ NEEDED! Some new Bling for my wrist !!!!

I probably read every olde post I could find on PriceScope about
Bangle vs Tennis Bracelet, stressed out about the
size,
the
Price.....
The size again......Goodness knows, I tried on cheap department store bangles
and bracelets, went to Jared's and tried some on,
measured and sized myself and worried, worried worried......

Then I just closed my eyes and pulled the trigger on a

truly GORGEOUS AND PERFECT FOR ME !!!!

Whiteflash Bangle, 1.5 ct !!!

I am not sure how loveloveloveit and all the other PS'ers got such great pictures
of their bangles and tennis bracelets,
because it is hard for the camera to focus on the sheer
BLINGINESS thrown off by all those little diamonds.....

I really love it, the carat size is just perfect for me for everyday wear,
and best of all......

IT FITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish y'all could see the Bangle in real life,
it looks like it is full of little LED lights,
and I couldn't love it more !!!!

Ooh shiney I LOVE that 1.5ct bangle ... Beautiful. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine, and I suspect you are! Can I ask, are all your prongs perfect? Mine has one at the very end that's a little stubby - I assume it will still be safe, but I wonder if I should ask WF.

I am really so happy with my new pieces !!!!!

It was really easy to fall for the pendant,
since I LOVE pendants and have worn something pretty
around my neck for most of my life....
I had admired everyone else's Barbara pendants for a looong time

I really love the perfect little milgraining around the
Barbara setting, and the way the open backing lets in
so much light to my little sparkler.... The chain is very glittery too, so that's a
nice plus....

Yes, it was amazing of my Boss, Enerchi !!!!
He also gave a nice party *(there were two of us) with other small gifts
but the check was VERY unexpected.....
He is a boss who REALLY appreciates loyalty...rare.... and doesn't mind showing it.
That works in my favor, cause this olde gal isn't up for many new changes at this point...

The bangle caused me MUCH more angst....
I do wear bangles, silver ones that are slip-on.
I like the clanking sound
But my hands are larger, and my wrists........not petite....
The last time I bought some bangles (at Pike Place Market in Seattle)
the gal had to pull the "large" size out from under her bench...
Well, so I'm large.....once they get over my hand, they look pretty big on my wrist though.

So sizing, it was definitely a worry... I am really happy with this piece though.
It is really sparkly !!!!!

As for the prongs, loveloveloveit ..... you know, I really didn't think to look,
so I just took out my loupe to check.
I *might* see one or two random prongs that don't look as secure as the others, but it could be my eyes...
I have a really hard time focusing with my loupe for any length of time,
it makes my eyes go
So I don't ordinarily do so....
loveloveloveit, If you do ask WF about yours, please share?
I would assume they would replace a melee if one ever fell out?
Or for sure they would check yours if you asked them to..... LMK ?

All in all, I am pretty much a Happy Face right now, so thanks y'all for the compliments !!!!
I'm hoping my next piece will be a Memoire-type band to wear with my 5-stone.
or a pair of diamond hoops.
or maybe a larger diamond from JBEG
or maybe I should set one of my Spinels....
or,,,,,or,,,,,or.....

I really toyed with picking one up as well - they sure ARE popular lately on PS! - but being also an "EXTRA LOVELY" in the hand and wrist categories, I think I'm safer with a soft/chain style bracelet. BUT... happy to come and play in your jewelry box and try on your trinkets... just to check out the bangle!! tee hee!!

Coming to LV for the PS GTG? if yes- load these babies up and bring them on down!!!

I've been with my employer for 22 years... i got zip. Well, no, I do now get 6 weeks vacation, so I guess that's my perk--- and I have a job, but I'd sure love a little bonus cheque like you got!

Ya, I signed up for the Las Vegas GTG, then I started thinking that I would probably
spend the equivalent of a Bangle on that trip......
So I decided to wait for next year !!!!

That bangle is gorgeous! I'm already re-thinking my bracelet (single DBTY) which is back at BGD again - being resized AGAIN. It was too long, then I sent it back and they made it a half inch too short, so it's back there being made the correct lenth! I hope I'll fall more in love with it when I get it back. It just wasn't doing it for me for the very short time I had it before sending it for resizing.

On the "how long have you been at your job?" topic, I celebrated 25 years last May! Got a VERY small monetary thank you, but hey, I'm happy to have a good job. This is pretty much the only place I've ever worked and it's a fantastic company but I sure would love a bonus check! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I may get a little something this week in fact...
