Just a heads up, I will be proposing to my GF next month (I have other postings with the ring and pictures) and I was looking for a really nice, high quality and unique ring box. After a lot of research, I came across a website for a gentleman named Peter Lloyd out of England who makes handmade wooden boxes. I called him up directly and placed an order for one including a monogram on the front of the box. He was very nice and the box arrived pretty quickly. The box is really high quality, its all solid wood hand carved including the hinge, and I''m so happy with it. For anyone looking for a really nice alternative ring box, I would definitely recommend you checking him out. (And no, I don''t in any way work for or represent him, this is just a really honest review). I searched pricescope during my research and I know there are some folks out there looking for something like this. The box wasn''t cheap (about $90 including shipping) but considering the work involved and craftsmanship, and the fact that something like this is hard to find, I didn''t mind and I think it was worth it.
