Do you have a surprise diamond?

I wonder how many surprise diamond owners wear bands with their rings? I''m just engaged but I wear a plain band in the winter because yanking my gloves over my e-ring makes the bezel around the surprise diamond dig into my finger. I actually had a constant scar healing there for a while. So now, I put a band there. People are always asking if I got married. LOL.

Here''s a blurry camera phone photo... there''s a small gap but not too bad. My finger feels more protected and the ring overall more stable. Sorry, the photo is so blurry but I hope you get the idea. Please excuse the crazy tan -- should have used SPF on the beach! Oy!

The blurriness also makes the ring look monstrous but it''s actually not IRL.

I must be super bored because I made a collage. LOL.

musey- i totally forgot you had a band like that... i just took a peek at yours your sapphire show more blue than mine, mine is a whole lot darker...

when my FI went searching for it he told me that it was the one ring that was all alone in the display case of this vintage estate shop and he said that it was like finding that puppy in window he just had to get it lol...
