I'm having my solitaire reset into a halo with pave shank. The halo size will be 1.3mm.
The designer originally suggested 1.7mm for the band width after I told him I wanted 2mm.
Do you guys think the mismatch size would look awkward if I went with the 2mm band width? He said he would prefer to keep it consistent at 1.3mm band (which I think it's too thin, esp with pave!)
Thoughts? Anyone with a 1.7mm or 2mm band width and 1.3mm halo?
