would you?

I have and I will again.

Hmm...I would...but it would have to be with the right outfit.

Also, I would have to learn the double Windsor, which I''ve never mastered. That''s my favorite knot.

Sure have! For 15 years at pony club and 5 years in a private highschool.

Not worn one since high school and don''t think I would again.

Sure, why not?

Haven''t and wouldn''t
Can''t stand anything on my neck
I got demerits in high school for not buttoning
my uniform blouse to the top.

One of my favorite outfits in elementary school was accented by my mother''s old bowtie from when she was a waitress!

Don''t currently own any tie-appropriate outfits, but I''d certainly wear one if it completed a "look"...but I''d also have to master that double Windsor, monarch!

Just aspart of my s hool uniform!

I think they look funky on the right person but I don''t really have the style to carry that look off.

I did in school and have also done so in my adult life as well, for reasons which I’ll refrain from explaining.

I use to have an outfit that had a vest and tie with it. It was very cute (at the time). I''d wear one again!

For eight years in private school. It wasn''t exactly a tie like a man''s tie, it was more of a cross over thing with a snap in the middle but it was still considered a tie.

Yep- love pretty ties and own three. Unfortunately I''m terrible at tying them and so is my husband. Haven''t worn one since my dad passed since I would always ask him to tie them for me. Sad since I bought this beautiful silk filigree in a deep burgundy that goes so well with a sleeveless velvet top that I have. Very dramatic.

Yep. They''re like cloth jewelry, in my book!

Yes, and will again

I have a pearl necklace that looks like a tie and I used to wear it to clubs when I was single... does that count? lol

No, I never have, and I don''t think I will. I don''t like the feeling of something tight around my neck, I can''t even wear turtlenecks! I think it''s a cute look, though.

Yes with a long sleeved white silk shirt, a hunter green sweater vest and my houndstooth dress pants.

I wants to

I had to as a waitress where the uniform was white shirt, black pants, and tie of our choice. I didn''t mind it too much, even in the hot summer working on the patio when we weren''t allowed to roll up our sleeves.

I wouldn''t do it again unless it was part of a uniform.

nope, don''t think i have.

Yes. I worked in a grocery store when I was 16 and it was standard attire for both men and women.

In fact I had to tie my roommates (male) ties for him because even at 25+ years old he still didn''t know how!

Love them! But it has to be with the right outfit - usually for me an uber-feminine menswear-inspired ensemble: vest, pencil skirt, and crazy stilettos. I also have had to wear ties as part of school and work uniforms before, but to me that doesn''t count since I didn''t pick it.

I''m in lurve with this necklace ... but haven''t taken the plunge because what looks cute on her might go "butch" on me. Sad.

I had to wear a tie as part of my uniform for a waitressing job. It was better than the Oktoberfest dress!

Yes - pure silk, deep burgundy, windsor knot. I should do it again...

I don''t like anything that fits closely around my neck - not even crewneck t-shirts.

I wore one as part of a uniform. As an actual outfit, no. I''m with you musey-I hate tight things around my neck, including crew necks! It makes me want to gag, actually.
