It means the diamond is considered to be a hearts and arrows cut, the inscription might have been requested by the supplier/ seller. Whether it meets the strict standards of conoisseurs and experts of this cutting style, images for the hearts and arrows will be needed to judge the cut precision.Date: 6/14/2009 10:50:13 AM

What does an H&A comment mean on a GIA certification? Thanks in advance.

As mentioned above it could mean something - or it could mean nothing. The inscription is whatever the manufacturer or seller told the lab to write. It could be inscribed 'D Flawless' or 'Mike Tyson owned this stone' and not be either of those things.
Caution is commonly exercised since, as H&A became popular, some sellers began requesting that inscription on diamonds, regardless of whether they were actually H&A stones. If you are paying a H&A premium and want that specific pedigree ask the seller for H&A images, or if you're in the store examine them through a proper viewer and compare to examples in the article Lady Lorelei linked.
