Hello everyone,

I keep making posts... I am going crazy here picking between stones...

Heres the deal:

I have ordered this stone:
http://www.agslab.com/pdf_sync_reports/104044444042-PLDQR.PDF

But now ive seen this:
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond/diamond-detail/?product_id=AGS-104046351003
http://www.agslab.com/pdf_sync_reports/104046351003-PLDQR.PDF

The above stone is only around $400 more and seems to me to be a better choice due to its size. I am worried that it is a H color which may make it seems a little yellow?

What would you guys do? Buy the 0.738 or the 0.85?

HELP

Personally I think you need to stop looking at stones. The first one looks great. It has good distribution of colors in the aset and should perform great. You have a grass is greener complex happening. If its already on order wait till you get it. Play with the stone a bit in different lighting and see if you like it. If you dont then send it back and look at other stones. Theres always going to be a potentially better stone out there. You dont want to get caught in a never ending cycle.

As far as size goes what Ive done in the past is to to put the numbers into inches. I know an inch and a quarter inch and an 1/8. Im not so hot in visualizing mm. Convert sizes to what you know and it will help you know how big to go.

yap. Also, depends on your color sensitivity.

Hmmmm....

I don't think I want to risk buying a H stone.... But I haven spoken to Brian and he tells me theres nothing to worry about.

Hi New2Diamonds. :wavey:

I wish I could help you, but I know nothing about princess diamonds. From the little I've read, it seems princess-cuts show color more than RB's. Is there any way you can see an H princess in a B&M?

I have a G pear and near the tip, I can occasionally see warmth. I probably wouldn't like a "warmer" stone, but that's just me.

What about the ASET images - they look different? The WF cert shows more contrast in the center. The BGD cert shows more solid red in the center. I'm not sure what this means in actual performance though - clueless about princess cuts.

I know how you feel - it's called "buyer's remorse". I always experience it when I have to decide between things. Try to see an H princess in person asap - it may make you change your mind, or it may make you happy in your decision. Do it right away though.

Hello :)

Yes I think I need to see a H in person. As I really wouldn't want a stone which has some warmth or tint to it

It sounds to me like an H color will not be "mind clean" for you. I think perhaps sticking with the one you chose is a good bet in this case.
