Okay what is your guilty TV confession?

Mine is Duck Dynasty. I think it is the FUNNIEST darn show. I watch it and laugh, and laugh and laugh. The show is awesome Uncle Si is my favorite character.

Oh dear... where to begin? Err... Jersey Shore!!! (the title song was my cellphone ringtone for ages and I got such dirty looks when I commuted by train and my phone would ring I can quote Snooki and The Situation like nobody's business) Also Basketball Wives LA and Miami. Also Say Yes To The Dress, although it is not super trashy. Ok, I'll go hide behind the sofa now

I haven't watched DD yet. I'll check it out if it's on Hulu (not Hulu+!) We don't subscribe to a tv service, we just watch DVD's when we need a "tv fix" or watch stuff on Hulu for free on our laptops. Anyway, I love catching up once a month on Real Housewives of whatever city is in season, they're just so awful yet hilarious. Project Runway is finally available, and it's become ridiculously scripted as well, so I like to watch it for a laugh now, too. No one's scared of Heidi anymore, and what's-his-face has become a caricature of himself (Tim-something? Gunn Tim Gunn, sorry.) It's all very amusing, which is what tv is meant for, I guess.

Before the internet was invented, I watched soap operas. Namely, "Days of Our Lives," and "Passions." One's off air, the other is still on but I haven't watched nor heard anything about it for probably 8 years. Back in the day it was great stuff, though, and a solid distraction from studying!

The Next Great Baker. Anybody else watch that? Last episode for this season was on Monday & I was shocked. In the last contest to pick the winner Gretel-Ann cheated, hid baking sheets from the others & turned up oven temps on their stuff that was baking. Nobody mentioned it -- except Buddy said he admired her spunk(?). I thought, WTF? She didn't win anyway, but should have been kicked to the curb in disgrace. Ethics, folks!

I love the personalities & seeing what they make.

I used to watch Jersey HW but I can't do Teresa anymore without the Manzos on there to cut her screentime down. Occasionally Y&R but I am so far behind I don't even know who half the people on it are anymore. I love Diners, DriveIns and Dives.

I am TOTALLY into mindless tv right now, so I have quite a list. I LOVE Duck Dynasty, I agree, Si cracks me up. So does Jase. And I adore Miss Kay.

I also must admit to watching Toddlers and Tiaras (mostly for the crazy mama drama), and .....Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. There. I've said it.

I also must admit to watching Toddlers and Tiaras (mostly for the crazy mama drama), and .....Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. There. I've said it.

My inlaws are into Duck Dynasty and what I've seen of it, it is pretty funny. I really like the family. BUT mine has to be Honey Boo Boo!!!!

I looooooove firefly. I wish they hasn't canceled it after the first season! I always get so angry thinking about it. It was the best show ever. SciFi, drama, romance, action, comedy... And the cast just worked together beautifully! Sigh...

My confession is watching Lost. We watched it way back when, but recently I put it in my Netflix quere and next thing I know, I'm on season 4!

Yup! Watched Serenity! The show was still better. But cygnet told me that they are talking about doing another Firefly so I'm excited!

I told DH yesterday all excited and he gave me a look of pity. I'm always yelling at him about how they canceled Firefly...

Because it's past my daughter's bedtime and I cannot tolerate the eye rolling from both husband and daughter, I send them off to bed on Sunday evenings and watch Downton Abbey blissfully alone.
I'm more embarrassed that I love Tosh.0 for content, but I am slightly ashamed that I will not give up the DA indulgence.

That's what I said! It won't be the same if they don't all come back. And Mal has his own show, Castle, which I also love so I don't want him to leave that show to do Firefly but I also want Firefly to come back. It's a lose lose situation.

First of all, Downton Abbey does not qualify as a guilty pleasure, as there is no need to feel guilt for a high brow show - sorry!

But I watch Downton Abbey and go from there to okay-please-don't-shun-me Shahs of Sunset, if its on. I don't know why. Maybe because I wonder how many casting calls they had to do to find that many Persians/Iranians interested in being portrayed that way. I guess I shouldn't think; should just enjoy.

I enjoy jersey shore and tosh.o. The last season of the shore was a bit of a flop, IMO. I think the thing I'm most unsure about admitting to watching and enjoying is MMA.
