I have a three stone pear engagement ring with a 2.52 center stone and two .50 sidestones. I pair it with my 2.10 ct shared prong eternity band that is 3mm. Lately DSS is setting in and I''m thinking of getting a wider eternity band. I have my eye on something like the Facets 4.67 band that is 4.4 mm. The pear side stones on my ering right around 4.4mm....so if I were to get it the new eternity band I''m thinking the stones would look about the same size/width. Is that OK? Will it overpower the center stone? Are there any particular guidelines to follow re proportions of side stones and stones on bands?

I personally feel a thinner eternity band makes your ering look bigger. I think if you go thicker then it takes away from the ering.
