Green Bling

Ladies - I was re-organizing my jewellery collection to admit a new member or two and thought I'd share my "greens" with you.

The bottom one is a Merelani Mint from Roger Dery (no yellow IRL), the next is a copper bearing tourmaline from Gene, the trillion is a mint garnet from Jeff Davies and the last is a Columbian Emerald that I've had for ever (my very first coloured stone purchase). My photography skills are not great but you get the idea, I hope!

Thank you Lorrissey - it was my first purchase through a friend who worked for a wholesaler way back in the early 90's. It is still one of my most favourite pieces. As much as I love the other green stones, there's nothing quite like a good emerald.

Thank you Niel - I love them all too. I really should do group shots of my blues, pinks, yellows but .... well, time just seems to get away from me.

Beautiful. Love that the look of each halo is so different. I think my favorite too would be the Roger Dery garnet. What other gorgeous cs do you have in your jewelry box?

Thank you everyone. Minous - I'll try and load a couple of snaps I've taken of the blues, the pinks and the greys - having a bit of trouble though - may be due to slow internet connection. Will keep trying.

The pics are just quick snaps so any deficiencies are in my photographic skills not the quality of the gems or settings. I have more rings and pendants and earrings and bracelets and now just realizing how incredibly spoilt I am and just a wee bit embarrassed by the size of my collection.

Thank you ladies. I'm now living in Dubai (ex-Singapore) so am on a quest to find someone in the trade here to help me continue with my addiction. Luckily my real estate agent has just mentioned she has a friend in the wholesale trade here - yay! My poor husband is having a heart attack!
