GRANDMOTHERS RINGS -where to start

hello experts ..

Hope you can help - I have been left a couple of rings and today took them into a shop on new bond st london who will be be giving me a value in next couple of days... think they may try and offer silly amount as i know nothing about diamonds..

the only information i have is

Diamon x 3 stone
centre 2.27 top silver cape, clarity 2nd. 0.8 white vsi 1 and a o.84 top silver cape clarity 2nd

five stone diamond and emerld ring
diamond 1.28 no inclusions
emeralds 0.40 no inclusions\

both rings are platinum..


Any idea in pounds what kind of offer I should accept - I imagine I have not given enough information but a very rough ideal might be good to go on..\

Hi Newchappy,

According to this wikipedia chart top silver cape = J/K colour grade.

I''m not sure what your clarity rating on any of the stones would be in modern grading terms.

Experts?
