Hello
I have been looking at some princess stones, and comparing them to an AGA Chart that I downloaded off the internet.
What happens in the case where a stone meets Ideal Cut dimensions on several paramaters ( eg depth and table), but is only premium cut or domestic cut on others ( eg crown height)
What grade does the stone default to overall?
Thanks.

You know I am not sure on how the creator of the charts sets the defaults, for purchasing though images are the next step in evaluation and personal preference. Don't worry too much if a proportion doesn't match up exactly to these charts, they are very useful for eliminating the less likely to be attractive diamonds but images are needed in order to see how the proportions work together, so that means ASET preferably and detailed photos.

This page explains more about ASET
