This is a follow-up to my other, where I bought a Leo with a grading report from the store, then on Leo’s web site looked up the ID and found there was a newer grading report for this Leo ID.

The VS1 report shows a large inclusion on the center of the bottom, but the S1 graded report shows many more inclusions, but not this particular one in the center.

The report on Leo’s website from December shows the diamond being 7% less deep, one grade less in color, and one grade less in clarity. From the photo of the inclusions diagram can you tell if these two reports are from the same diamond?

Here is the report I got from the store: sorry about the compression. I will put a close-up in my next post

No they are not the same stone in my opinion.
No way.
Something is definatly wrong.
They must have used the same number twice or a typo in the reports.
The inclusion plots tell the whole story they arent even close.

Rock Doc discusses minor variances but says where there are huge differences, it should be investigated.

In this case, I think Strm is right. Variances in measurements might possibly be explained by differences in instruments and/or software. Inclusions are a whole different issue. You might want to take your stone, all the documentation you''ve gathered, with web addresses, to the Jeweler and ask for a complete and thorough investigation of the situation.
