grading certificate

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I guess this might be a bit of an odd question, but maybe someone can help me out. I recently bought a pair of diamond studs for my girlfriend. Each diamond came with 2 grading reports (one from GIA and another from I forget where). Should I give her the certificates with the earrings, or should I just hang on to them?

Give the lab reports to her.
They go with the diamonds.

If there is an appraisal with a dollar value you must decide if you want to give that, IMHO.
Telling someone what you paid for a gift may be touchy for some people.

Thanks That's pretty much what I was thinking. They also came with an appraisal (probably a bit inflated since it was a few thousand more than I paid), but I figured I'd keep that to myself since they are a gift and all.
