Got the ring today

I got the engraved flyer fit ring in today pictures will be posted when I can. I noticed on another fom that people were able to see leakage if the stone was in front of somethhing and that thing could be seen through the stone. I have a radiant in this and can se nothing from the very top but if I place some colored paper under the stone and turn it sideward I can see a bit of the color is this normal for this cut TIA

Radiants can show more warmth than other shapes, this is the reason so many fancy colour diamonds finish up as radiants if you mean you are seeing body colour from the side, however colour paper isn't the best way to judge colour. With the leakage you will have to forgive me but I am not quite sure what you are asking, do you mean viewing the diamond through an Idealscope with a red background?
