I found a diamond through the "H&A Search Engine" on GOG. But, once I see the specs, there doesn't seem to be any link to click on to view pictures or anything of that sort. I cannot find this diamond through the "H&A Rounds link" that gives you an inventory listing where you can view all the pretty pictures

. Are there more rounds in the Search Engine than if you just follow the "H&A Rounds" link?

Does the GOG search engine search other stores and the $100 is a markup to get it through GOG?

Thanks.

I have a feeling this answer has something to do with "drop shipping" or "virtual inventory" or being a "broker," although I'm not really sure how this all works. Someone humor me and tell me how this works in a nutshell. :-)

Hi Zep. Your question is currently being discussed here ... sort of

The GOG search engine looks at diamonds off of a wholesaler's virtual list. The same lists that a lot of other vendors use.

The H&A Rounds link with all the pictures, test, etc. are the ones that GOG has their in-house inventory.

GOG also gives you that option. You see a stone online and if you pay a litle more for the non-drop ship service, you also get the analysis, return policy, free shipping, and lifetime tradeup. I think both companies are outstanding...but I've only had personal dealings with GOG

Thanks for the replies. I've done a lot of research on both companies on here and have been very impressed with the reviews.

I am slowly starting to think I may buy a diamond online...
