Leo Diamond
shape:round
cut:brilliant
measurements 6.68-6.71 4.12mm (no idea what any of these measurements mean by the way, is it good?)
symmetry: very good
polish - good
Color - H
1.13 CT

thank you for your advice!

Additonally,

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE RING IS ON "THELEODIAMOND.COM" . GO TO "ABOUT YOUR DIAMOND" THE CODE FOR THIS ONE IS 200466 IF ANYONE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!

There is nowhere near enough information to tell you if it''s a nice stone or not. Can you get it independently appraised prior to purchase? That''s the only way I would consider it.

Um, according to the IGI certificate, that''s an I stone, not an H.

also, you dont need to keep creating new threads like this... just keep one and bump it...

Sorry, will do!

Thanks everyone for the advice thus far. I must say though that I am unsure, from the community response, if based on all the specs, what the ring may typically be valued at. Any educated guesses? Additonally, from the leo certificate (if anyone has looked at it), it shows that the brillance, fire, etc, is off the charts. Is this pertinant at all? If not, or you have an explaination, please let me know, because the Gemex report was weighing heavy on my decision (as it seemed like great quality) in my decision to purchase. Bless you all for your help!

Yeah, but you could get an unbranded (non-Leo) stone that had marks 'off the charts' like that with better colour and clarity for less money.

And, did they tell you it was an H, or did you just make that part up? I'd be REALLY hesitant to do business with them if they told you it was an H and it's an I. If you just made it up for no apparent reason, well, they're not to be held accountable, of course. But why oh why would you want to go from an F to an I and go down in carat size? Am I understanding things correctly? This makes no sense to me at all.

As it stands now, I kind of feel like you'd be getting robbed.

gwen,

Thanks for your uninhibited thoughts, I really appreciate them! No, I didnt make anything up. I have all of the information right here in front of me. My thinking was that the ring is all about this... (at least for me and let me know if Im wrong) ..... 1. It sparkles like crazy (and this one does and has the Gemex report to prove it) 2. no noticeble to the eye inclusions, this one doesnt so I am happy (should I be) . As a guy, I just care about no noticeble to the eye inclusions, so I was happy there. 3. The ring was 1.14 and the extra Leo cuts make it appear larger (am I wrong here too?) . So with those criteria in place, thats why I thought this ring MAY be a good purchase.

These two threads are really confusing! You might want to stick with only responding to one thread from now on. It''s hard to help you otherwise.

I will stick with this one, thanks!

Jamie I wrote back to you in your other thread

My mom used to say she wanted a Leo diamond, but they were "too expensive". I recently bought her a half carat AGS0 pendant and she went in to compare it to the Leo. She was surprised (I have no idea why) at how much her pendant outperformed the Leos. See, previously she''d only been able to compare the Leos to Kay''s normal poorly-cut stones, but when she compared it to an AGS Ideal, then she could see the difference.

I would say that a Leo is cut better than Kay''s normal diamonds, but the cut is still average at best. If you really do want a good quality diamond, stick the one you have in a pendant and start from scratch...but not at Kay''s!

Jamie,

If you can''t keep the current stone for a pendant or something then just try to sell it on your own. To many people the Leo diamond will be beautiful. But they ARE overpriced AND you can do better for your fabulous future wife!!!!
