Gold Tinsel Earrings-Help Wanted!

I need some help. I want to find some gold earrings. I want them to look like sunbursts or starbursts made of gold tinsel. I want them to be round in shape and sit on my ear lobe. I do not want them to dangle. I want them to be fairly large (but not bizarrely large), not just petite balls that one can glimpse on the lobes like demure cultured pearls. I found a pair of earrings that do not fit my description exactly (they are not round) but which I would have gladly bought had they been available. (I will post a picture of them). The ones I am posting are not "real" gold and the ones I am looking for do not have to be "real" gold, either. (I love real gold, but large real gold earrings are pricey and this wasn't a planned purchase.)

The thing is that I have super, super short hair now and I think I look good in large earrings. All help will be appreciated, but I may just use it to tell you more about what I am actually looking for!

Both pairs are good. You really understood what I was saying and I appreciate your looking. The first pair is definitely the right shape and color but not the right texture for me. I wanted something less solid, more filmy and light in texture. The second pair is close to what I want, but not quite there. I am looking for something less conventional and more like tinsel. I guess even less solid than the second pair (which is less solid than the first pair).

I saw a pair of earrings (in pink) on Etsy that look like pom poms that had a bit of the look I wanted. I wonder what they would look like in gold? (Maybe not so big.)

By the way, I noticed quite a few are clip-on earrings but was thinking that pieced might be too heavy for some of these styles. Of course, I don't really know from experience.

In my quick search yesterday, I came across large gold spiral ear cuffs. Wish I'd saved the image, but it definitely didn't fit your description. I must say, your thread has resulted in me coming across all kinds of earrings I never saw before! Lots of fun!

Here are two ear cuffs that don't match your description but might be fun to check out. I feel much younger, but I just celebrated my 59th birthday, and ear cuffs are a new concept for me. Some of them are great! I suspect you could go with a heavier earring with a cuff than you could with a pierced earring.

The treble clef made me think of you right away. The photo on the ear is blurry, but you get the idea. My preference is the all-silver because the crystals seem to take away from the treble clef shape; although, maybe not.
