Gold closes at record high

Gold closed today (November 7, 2007) at a record high of $833.50/oz. The previous record was set in 1980.

Platinum and Silver are doing equally well. Those people who have insured items where a significant amount of the value is metal content you might want to talk to your appraiser about updating your values. Gold has doubled in just the last 4 years.

I guess realistically..., there is still a lot of room for movement...
