After all the searching I have done over the past 6 months, I finally found a diamond that is exactly what I was looking for. I went out on a limb and trusted Jon at GOG, as some of the specs on the diamonds weren''t perfect, but were still very good. Take a look below:

http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4178

I received the diamond today and the pictures, video, and technology specs do not do it justice. I''m releived by the persistant smile on my face. I would highly recommend them to anyone purchasing an asscher.

Storm, thank you for your help as well. After seeing several terrible looking asschers in person (sometimes due to my inability to listen to others), I put a lot of faith in those that know this cut the best. It paid off and I couldn''t be happier. Thank you again.

Best Regards,

Josh

Your welcome
congrates!!!

I really appreciate your input about this jouefoot now that you have seen it live after comparing because this particular diamond had received negative press on these boards that had caused others to fear purchasing it even though they never laid eyes on it. When I saw it and scrutinized it I knew it was a beaut and that there was nothing wrong with it and that it would find a happy home. More than anything we are happy that *you* are happy. Please keep us posted on your engagement!

The aset image looks borderline and they were correctly advised to talk to Jon about it because the data wasnt telling enough of the story.
This is one of those stones that only an in person evaluation by an expert could make the call.
Jon did, the owner loves it :} happy ending.

green center in the aset instead of red.
So the question was did it have enough light return center, it did.

Okay, thanks, Storm!

Looks gorgeous to me!!! Congratulations!!!

I''m having a setting designed for me, I''ll post pics once it''s completed.
