#JOTW Glittery, Gorgeous GTG in Boston!

On October 20th, @mrs-b graciously hosted an awesome Boston get together! She is such a wonderful, kind and generous person and her gorgeous jewelry collection is even more stunning in person!

We also got to meet David Klass and Amy who are just as patient and courteous in person as they are over phone & email. They brought some stunning jewels that I am sure all attending enjoyed seeing! Amy’s parents deserve a special shoutout for being so lovely and helpful throughout the entire event.

Last, but not least, we got to meet @Rhino and his lovely wife Vicki who were so knowledgeable and entertaining as if we had our own private Rhino’s School of Rock! They also brought some gorgeous rocks!

Thank you @mrs-b along with mr.b for getting us all together. It was such a great pleasure to meet so many local PSers and some of our favorite vendors!

My sister @krstn was also one of the lucky winners of the generous door prices - an AVC gem by August Vintage! It was a perfect PS GTG!

One question...it looked like msop's ring with the yellow diamond with round halo was in one of your pictures. Was she there, or was it a look-alike ring, or did she sell it to another PSer?

@SimoneDi - thank you SO MUCH for taking all these photos! This is a wonderful thread of an awesome day. I wish I'd taken a few myself - the necklace Amy was wearing and @kemurphy's mom's emerald and diamond jaw-dropper. Amy's necklace had, I believe, 111 ctw of sapphires in it, and goodness only knows how many ctw of diamonds! (20cts maybe?) An absolutely spectacular piece.

David and Amy brought a wonderful selection of pieces, which everyone except me got to try on (I was the chick running around with the plate of chicken wings) and so I'm only just now seeing so many of the pieces they brought with them. So a special thank you, Simone, for being the afternoon's photographer - it was truly inspired that you made the effort to do that!

And can I just say - your hand is PERFECT for modeling jewelry; I'm thrilled to see my ring on your finger - it reveals its beauty, which is a pleasure to see.

I have never cared for emerald cuts or Asscher cuts but lately there has been a bit of an obsession.
I knew Jonathan said he brought moissanite along but I also knew THAT emerald seemed to look way too pretty to be moissanite!
I think I was wishful thinking.
