Give me strength to take apart this ring

I got an owl ring for the two old cut stones to use as side stones for an emerald or sapphire and now I'm having second thoughts I do not need another diamond ring. This setting also has the adjustable click thing for arthritis and it's sooo comfortable. Love the diamonds. It was cheaper than buying the diamonds loose. What do I do?

I say keep it as it. When you get old (like me) you may need that click thing for arthritis!

Well, you could always swap in some colored stones. Sapphires would no doubt be lovely! Or you could try selling the setting? Personally, I think it's quite striking!

Ooh love this! Agree coloured stones would look amazing swapped into the setting if you really want to use the diamonds. I’d go for emeralds personally.

Update: the diamonds are too big (I can't believe I'm typing this) for the sapphire and the ring has SO much finger presence, so I'll keep it. Do you know by any chance if David K. would source two small, 0.5 / 0.75 ctw, old cut diamonds for me to use with the sapphire or is it more cost efficient to look on my own. Also, how to I open and close a setting with the arthritis thingie? Thank you!
