My diamond is rated a "Very Good" cut on a recent GIA statement but comes in "Excellent"" on the GIA site calculator (as well as HCA)

Table 61%
Depth 59.9%

Pavillion- 41 degrees
Crown- 33 degrees

Symetry and Polish- Very good.

I"m wondering if the girdle (which is not a factor on the calculator)- slightly thick to thick- automatically keeps it out of the "excellent" rating.
Any thoughts on this?

thick is the reason

So light performance should be identical to an excellent cut? I''m just missing out on some visual size that''s hidden in the girdle?
Also Garry, is a 61% table excellent (all things considered) in your opinion or just on your advisor calculator? Meaning you accept that it may be perfect for others, just not you.
