Should I be concerned with a GIA report dated June 2004?Is it typical for stones to sit around for 2 years without being purchased?

All the specs look great - I''m thinking "why wouldn''t have someone bought it already...?"

Should not be a problem. Just take the same precautions you would with any diamond purchase.

Should be fine. There''s a good chance the diamond was previously owned and traded in when someone decided to upgrade.

Is there a way to see the history of a stone? (Like seeing the history of a used car before purchasing....)
