Hi everyone,

I have been lurking on this site for a few months and have learned so much from everyone! Thank you!

Can anyone tell me their opinion on this diamond?

GIA graded

Color H
Grade SI2
.71 ct
5.83-5.90 x 3.48mm

Depth 59.3% (these are the only numbers I have - no crown or pavilion angles)
Table 60%
Girdle - Thin to slightly thick, faceted

Polish - Very good
Symmetry - Very good

Fluorescence - None

Characteristics - Twinning Wisp

I''m most concerned about the twinning wisp. Since this diamond only came with a GIA Dossier, I don''t have any plottings of it. Does this mean that the only inclusion is a twinning wisp? Is that a good or bad inclusion to have? I''m assuming that it must be bad since the diamond is graded SI2. I looked through a loupe and with my naked eyes and didn''t see anything. Is this normal? I''m not sure what a twinning wisp would look like. I''m getting worried that I must have missed something and once my ring comes back from Scott Kay, that I will see a black inclusion!!!

Can anyone put my mind to ease????

Thank you!

Hi, GRL. This thread/question would get more responses in the Rocky Talk forum, as that''s where most ''technical" issues are tackled.

Hi, thanks. I actually thought about that after I had already posted here. I spend most of my drooling over the rings on this board and forgot where I was! (-:
