Hi everyone!
I'm recently looking to purchase an engagement ring and am considering the stone below:

Measurements: 6.24 - 6.27 x 3.80 mm
Carat Weight: 0.90 carat
Color Grade: D
Clarity Grade: VS2
Cut Grade: Excellent

Depth: 60.8%
Table: 56%
Crown Angle: 32.5°
Crown Height: 14.0%
Pavilion Angle: 41.0°
Pavilion Depth: 43.5%
Star length: 50%
Lower Half: 80%
Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet: None

Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None

Clarity Characteristics:
Cloud, Feather

As the report has "feather" stated as the clarity characteristics, I would like to ask if I should be worried about this? Apart from that, is this stone a good buy? I was quote a price of $8000 (incl. solitaire platinum plain band setting.. P.S. i'm from Sydney)

In addition, when I saw the GIA report, the report's date of issue is December 28, 2009. As I've been shopping around for diamonds, I realised that most GIA reports shown were issued pretty recently, i.e. Oct 2010 etc. Hence, should I be concerned about this as well?

Thank you so much, your inputs are greatly appreciated!

in a GIA vs2 of that size inclusions are no issue wrt visibility or durability.

Ditto. Also, since GIA will always list feather first if they are the same clarity level as other inclusions, this feather is probably VS1 or smaller.
