awesome.
It is way kewl that there is becoming a wider selection of
truly awesome shapes to choose from that give the best rounds a run for their money.
- I agree.
Now someone who doesn’t want a round diamond doesn’t have to take the second string cuts like most princess cut diamonds.
It is really sad that every day they are getting farther and farther away from me being able to buy one with the market the way it is.
- I hear ya. What really makes it interesting strmrdr is that these particular fancies have greater overall brilliance than most rounds on the market. Can you imagine a woman holding up a Jubilee/SqCush and the diamond being more beautiful than the round she is comparing it to? In terms of *sheer brilliance* and light return the round has always been king regardless of your preference for shape. With these newer cuts and factories like them that are being attentive to sites like ours and pricescope and are interested in *moving forward* with the times, these new shapes out now, as you point out, are giving people more options in shapes without sacrificing beauty and THAT is a good thing.
Thanks for posting the 'round scale' readings.
It really helps to see where these diamonds fit in the scheme of things.
- I hear ya. I have to tell ya, I kinda like comparing any stones results on the linear scale of the rounds for a comparison on how it does within the grand scheme of things.

EP, in answer to your question on the pricing. They are so close in price to the Jubilee's that we price them identically (in most circumstances). I know that 99% of the SqCush's are GIA Ex/Ex and the factory that cuts them... if the stone does not have an excellent H&A pattern plus get GIA Ex/Ex they'll send it back to be recut. This is my understanding from what I've learned of this company thus far.
