Gent eternity ring

Recently i started toying with the idea of an eternity ring for me, to sit next to my current ring:

the brief:

I have a broken knuckle, so a full eternity was the first choice then someone suggested euro shank or ring beads. I prefer the euro shank. For the comfort i have decided on channel setting v pronged setting, though the pronged setting justs gives the diamonds an extra kick of BLING. The most i will go with is 2ctw, so that the width is in line with what i have.

I have loved princesses for a long time, then i saw the asscher (thanks Kenny!! an avid poster on PS, as are others), and i fell in love . An asscher in a channel setting will lose the effect of the corners, and then someone suggested carre and hence here are my 3 options:

So, i am now down to the 3 rings that i like.. it is a Option 1

I went with the princess and baguettes ring because I like the look, and because it looks like the depth would be more comparable to the ring you're already wearing.

However, I think princess cuts are going to have more sparkle and flash than step-cuts, which are going to be more subtle overall. Something to consider.

I have a carre band, and I love it. I also have a band of horizontal emerald cuts (just a little too fat to be called baguettes), which is a slightly blingier look, and might be worth trying on.

Since you're attracted to, a) the sparkle of princesses, and, b) the "size enhancement" of prongs, if not their comfort ... have you thought of something like SingleStone's band of bezel-set french-cut baguettes? http://www.greenwichjewelers.com/sh...single-stone-french-cut-diamond-eternity-band

I just tried that one on in person, and it was a great balance of delicacy and presence.

I love the asscher carre setting! and... I'd go for 1/2 or 3/4. I love circe's SS option as well.... ah, GC, what a lovely dilemma!

someone else posted a link to have a look at eternity rings and i found this full baguette eternity ring....
my concern is that it may look a little feminine on my finger but not too sure.
it is to sit against my other ring, pictured above.i know it is the full eternity v what i have mentioned above, but it seems like a good deal.

It's the right size and thickness!!! I am making my way to the US for 2 weeks and it has a 5 day return policy so that would work in great with the timing. However, if it goes, it goes... i will continue with my project....

Any thoughts? Thanx in advance.

Got it! I guess, its a matter of getting it on the finger and see if that feels comfortable and also if it looks good for ME.


BTW- thanks to you, Kenny= i am liking the OCtavia alot!!!!! another project....

ETA - jewellry is something that i have slowly become more comfortable in wearing and I guess wanted to make sure that i don't make the wrong decision buying over the net. This would be the first time buying over the net. And, that is where the beauty of the 5 day return policy is great, especially if i m going to be in the US for 2 weeks. Also, some pieces, i know i will like and will wear and others not so sure and that is when i like to get opinion. Then, maybe, that particular piece is not right......hmmmmm
sometimes when you like something and you put it on and then go- what was i thinking.... yes... things to consider.
